Punctuality
- Being on time is required: 10 minutes of tolerance.
- Passengers have a maximum tolerance of 15 minutes. After that, the flight will be shorter.
- On shared flights the balloon will take off without you, with no right to rescheduling or refund.
The day of your flight
- Bring your booking, printed or digital, along with an official ID.
- If you paid the deposit with a card, you must present that same card physically along with your ID.
- There you can pay the balance, in cash or by credit or debit card: cards carry a 3 % commission charge.
Changes and cancellations
- You have 48 hours to change your booking. After that, a 30 % penalty applies.
- Not showing up on your flight day incurs a charge of 100 % of the deposit and/or the flight.
- Deposits are non-refundable. The only exception is foreign passengers, with a passport or visa and/or a verifiable itinerary.
Bad weather
- With rain or wind over 20 km/h, for your safety the flight is cancelled and rescheduled to the date you choose. You have 3 months to take it.
- If you booked ground transport and the flight is cancelled due to bad weather, the transport service is covered 100 %.
Minors
- Every minor must fly accompanied by an adult and follow the pilot's instructions.
- The recommended age to fly is 4 years or 1.10 m tall, since an adult is not allowed to hold them during the flight.
Weight and booking details
- It is very important that booking details are truthful, including weights and health conditions.
- The maximum weight per passenger is 99 kilos at no charge. Above that, $50 MXN is charged per extra kilo, collected by the crew on the day of the flight.
Restrictions to fly
For safety reasons, the following cannot fly:
- Pregnant women.
- People who have consumed alcohol in the 12 hours before the flight.
- People with blood pressure issues.
- People with cardio-respiratory conditions.
- People with recent surgeries or spine and/or knee problems.
During the flight
- The passenger must heed and obey the pilot's instructions at all times.
- Touching connections, tanks or ropes, inside or outside the balloon, is strictly prohibited. If instructions are not followed, the flight is cancelled without a refund.
- The estimated flight time is 45 to 60 minutes. If the pilot decides to make it shorter for safety reasons, it is not grounds for a refund.
- Bringing backpacks, suitcases or bags aboard is not allowed. You can leave them in the lockers at the launch site.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the takeoff area, during the flight and at landing.
- Use of camera equipment or phones is at the user's own risk, and selfie sticks are strictly prohibited.
Recommendations
- Wear comfortable, country-outing clothes: jeans, sneakers, a cap. Bring something warm, it gets quite cold. Avoid heels and skirts.
- Use sunscreen. After the flight, a light layer.
- Plan the activity without rush: it takes time.
