Booking on this site means you accept the following. The essentials: the flight depends on the weather, there are non-negotiable safety restrictions, and the price you see is the one charged, with no booking fees.

The service

Aerodiverti operates hot-air balloon flights over the Teotihuacán valley, taking off from the Aerodiverti launch site in San Martín de las Pirámides, Estado de México. Flights are run by crew licensed by the aviation authority (AFAC) and the activity includes traveler insurance.

Bookings and payment

• The booking is confirmed once payment is completed. Until then, the seat is not held.
• The price shown is the total: no booking fees or commissions are added at the end.
• Prices are in Mexican pesos.
• Payment is processed by Stripe and PayPal. We do not store card details.
• Book at least one day ahead: the flight leaves at sunrise and the manifest closes the night before.

The day of the flight

• Arrive at the time shown on your boarding pass. That is the check-in time, before takeoff.
• The exact takeoff time depends on the weather and is set by the captain.
• The flight lasts 45 to 60 minutes, subject to wind conditions.
• The landing point is decided by the wind: it is not a fixed location.

Safety restrictions

The minimum age to fly is 4 years or 1.10 m tall, and every minor flies accompanied by an adult: holding them during the flight is not allowed. Pregnant people cannot fly. The pilot in command may deny boarding to anyone not fit to fly safely. These restrictions admit no exception and create no additional liability for Aerodiverti beyond what the cancellation policy provides. The full list is in flight policies and restrictions.

Cancellations and changes

These are governed by the cancellation policy, which is part of these terms. If the weather makes it unsafe to fly, we reschedule your flight at no cost.

Add-ons

Photos, drone video, breakfast and transport are optional services booked together with the flight. If the flight is cancelled due to weather, the related add-ons are refunded or rescheduled with it.
